Configuration Manager with the ability and authority to ensure daily end-to-end delivery of Configuration Management services in accordance with McKean's organizational Configuration Management Plan.

Required Skills

Managing the day to day activities of the process, including establishing priorities and work assignments such as:

    • Engineering Change Proposal (ECP)
    • Engineering Release Record (ERR)
    • Government Format Production Level Technical Data Package (TDP)
    • Configuration Management Plan (CMP)
    • Configuration Identification (CI)
    • Interface Control Document (ICD)
    • Configuration Control
    • Notice of Revision (NOR)
    • Request for Variance (RFV)
    • Configuration Status Accounting (CSA)
    • Configuration Verification and Audit (CVA)
    • Configuration Audit Plan (CAP)
    • Configuration Audit Summary Report (CASR)
    • Product Data Management (PDM)
  • Track compliance to policies and procedures and resolving / escalating any compliance issues
  • Facilitate Configuration Management audits
  • Review critical incident outage resolution results and responses and dispositions of failed changes due to CMS related issues
  • Facilitate communication and engages business and IT management to encourage configuration management efforts and value proposition
  • Engage with strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required CMS functionality within project timeframes
  • Review and approve all changes to the CMS infrastructure where applicable
  • Review and approve significant IT infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to configuration management data are properly addressed
  • Mentor the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies and procedures
  • Provide and approve all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. in support of new or improving functionality of the CMS
  • Review and publish configuration management reporting
Required Experience

Bachelors Degree in engineering, management, or related field

Ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance to gain access to gov't/military databases and share drives

Certified DAWIA leadership-level competency or a certified industry DMSMS Managerial equivalent competency

Experience with gov't systems (Army/Navy) is preferred

At least 5 to 7 years work experience

Up to 25% travel
