Machinery Control Systems (MCS) Engineer

McKean Defense is seeking engineers to support Machinery Control Systems (MCS) programs for the US Navy. Role and responsibilities may include the following:
- Software and Hardware design, development, integration, installation, testing, and maintenance
- Testing and troubleshooting in a lab environment
- Provide distance and on-site shipboard support
- Developing and reviewing technical documentation to include but not limited to drawings, schematics, test plans and procedures
BS Degree in Engineering preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Candidate shall posses a Secret security clearance, or have the ability to obtain one.
Minimum of 2 years professional engineering experience
Prior experience supporting Machinery Control Systems (MCS) for the US Navy or Coast Guard
Familiarity with CVN and USCG ships a plus.
Basic knowledge of Navy cyber security practices a plus
