Job Description

McKean is seeking a senior technician to support NSWCPD programs with welding, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE), and quality management. The candidate shall provide the following support:

- Develop, review, and update technical documentation to include NDT techniques, NDT procedures, and NAVSEA technical standards.

- Coordinate with technical staff and provide high level technical guidance. Provide strategic planning to provide overall NDT support to surface and submarine HM&E Systems and Programs

- Participate in technical meetings and Program Reviews as necessary.

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Familiarity with Navy programs

Secret clearance, or ability to obtain one.

Required Experience

15+ years of Navy experience, to include welding, NDT and NDE

Experience developing and reviewing technical documentation.
