McKean Defense is seeking a subject matter expert in the area of systems design and development for various Submarine Life Support systems to include but not limited to Low Pressure Electrolyzer (LPE), Integrated Low Pressure Electrolyzer (ILPE), Advanced Integrated Low Pressure Electrolyzer (AILPE), and Advanced Carbon Dioxide Removal System (ACRU). The candidate shall have OEM level experience and well versed on various technologies within these systems.
This candidate may be responsible for providing consultation to Navy engineers on the design, development, and troubleshooting of the above systems. The candidate may review technical documentation, hold discussions with engineers, and provide advice through historical knowledge/expertise with the systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Deep knowledge of systems engineering principles
Understanding of control systems software
15+ years engineering experience with Navy Life Support systems
BS degree in a technical discipline required; graduate level education is a plus
